Frequently asked questions

How long does calibration take?

During calibration, the Vitastiq must maintain continuous contact with the skin for approx. 12 seconds, while you move the tip of the pen along your thumb (as demonstrated on the screen).

Each person has their own skin type, which is why calibration is necessary and important. During the calibration step, your skin’s resistance will be determined. If you don’t calibrate properly or don’t apply the same pressure at other points, your readings will be inconsistent.

Dr. Reinhold Voll (1909–1989), a German physician and researcher, revolutionized holistic medicine by introducing Electroacupuncture according to Voll (EAV) and Electro-Dermal Screening (EDS). These innovative methods merge traditional acupuncture principles with electrical measurements to assess the body's energetic imbalances, emphasizing a holistic approach to health.
